According to the Press Association, both governments maintain commitments under the Joint Framework established in September under the previous administration led by Sir Keir Starmer. Those commitments involve major reforms to the Independent Commission for Reconciliation and Information Recovery (ICRIR), the body tasked with investigating unsolved Troubles murders. Sir Chris stated earlier this month that he is proceeding full steam ahead on legislation to replace the Legacy Act introduced by the preceding Conservative government.
