Ambulance stolen from Maryland hospital, man in child custody –

Prince George’s County Police spokesman Officer Tyler Hunter states the unoccupied ambulance was obtained from Prince George’s Hospital Center in Cheverly early Friday. A police officer spotted the ambulance and started to follow along with it. Maryland Condition Police and also the Charles County Sheriff’s Office became a member of in.

The ambulance headed into Charles County, but came back to Prince George’s County, where it stopped in Temple Hillsides. Hunter states a guy was taken into child custody and brought to some hospital with non-existence-threatening injuries.

Hunter states it isn’t obvious why the person required the ambulance or how he was hurt.
